This year one of my New Years Resolutions was to practice the Yoga of motherhood, to practice more compassion towards my children. To be more understanding of how they react in different situations and to teach them yoga through my reactions.
I am also constantly learning how to be a better mother through my wonderful participants/friends on the mat. Together they have decades of experience and knowledge.
It is lovely to see them also practicing how to let go of the identity mother, filling up their own cup through yoga. They have embraced the January challenge of 20 classes for the month and are all an inspiration. It just shows where there is a will there is a way, to mould your schedule around a regular yoga practice not the other way around.
